After it calms down, the smell wafting around (spicy cherry tobacco) is actually very nice at times, but I can't help noticing the annoyingly sharp and synthetic Mancera base lurking in the background. The dry-down process takes a while, but as it happens, both the incense and amber become more noticeable; the amber dries down the fragrance creating a projecting slightly powdery accord; the incense enhances, intensifies, and sharpens the oud and tobacco note rather than becoming noticeable itself. couldn’t stand it and had to wash it immediately. I'm just not willing to suffer through an hour of rotting cow flesh to get to a good dry down that I can get elsewhere. I think this is the best perfume of Mancera.
